The Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 5 (ACA-5) is pure racism!

What is the aca-5?
The Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 5 (ACA-5) has been introduced in California. This bill means that public UC universities will no longer use the merit admission system, and instead alter to the racial proportion system. Originally, approximately 42% of Asians get admitted into UC Universities. However, with the passing of the ACA-5 Bill, only 12% of Asians are allowed to get into college. The rest of the spots of qualified Asians will be given to underqualified non-Asian students.
This is simply a form of racism.
As Asians, we diligently work hard in our academics. We can't accept this. If we give up our spots to those who may not have the best grades in high school, this means that students who are more qualified for these spots will not get admitted into college. This bill is discriminating against, or granting preferential treatment to individuals or groups based on race, gender, color, ethnicity, or national origin. Therefore, it violates the US Constitution.
